Camp Legacy is a summer experience created for students in grades 6-12. Camp will be an intensive week combining education on social concerns, hands-on volunteering and opportunities to hear the personal stories of leaders and clients at local organizations.
Participants will discuss key issues affecting Austin with Legacy staff, guest speakers, and spend time in the community with impactful groups. Campers will focus on topics such as hunger and food insecurity, homelessness, and conservation. On the final day of camp, parents are invited to hear the students present on what they learned and their reflections from the week.
*Students will receive 30 service/volunteer hours upon completion of Camp Legacy.
