Where the food is…

*Ryan, a 5th Grader at Gullett Elementary felt his jaw drop when he learned 1 in 4 Texas children don’t know where their next meal will come from. Inspired by Legacy’s service-learning curriculum, Ryan and his classmates launched a school-wide “We CAN make a Difference” canned food drive and hunger awareness campaign.

*Lorna, a 3rd Grader stopped him in the hall and said…”Hey, I know where the food is…it’s at HEB!!”.

And the Gullett Elementary Flash Mob was born!

The Gullet Flash Mobbers and thousands of Legacy Students raised 47,767 lbs. of food last year – enough to serve 38,214 meals to hungry Central Texans. Thanks to your support, 4500 Legacy students are embarking on their philanthropic journeys this fall.

One Student CAN Make a Difference.
Two CAN make a…Flash Mob!
